Oy I remember Veritas. I loved that story.
I'm doing NaNoWriMo but unfortunately school calls first so I have to study for 4 tests, write 2 essays, and take a Regents Exam before I can start... or I should anyway. :)

I really like Veritas too. I was thinking of reworking it and making it a bit better.
But then I remembered it was 51,000 words.
