Just call me "Hardworking Hetti"

... you know, or something.

I've been working really hard on this fricking story which doesn't have a title anymore since I decided that "London" was a shitty title for such a good story. It's turned into something a lot different to what I initially imagined. When I first started writing it, it was just a Pansy/Draco story, written to scratch a creative itch the Third Eye Blind song had given me, and also to satisfy my urge of seeing Pansy and Draco together for once (oh, the life of a closeted Pansy/Draco shipper in a Harry/Draco world). I never got anywhere productive, so I gave it up. Then I went through an "ARGH I need to finish all my unfinished crap!" phase, and this story got picked back up (even though something like "Unspoken Words" would have been much easier to finish, in retrospect). I took the song's words very loosely and decided to add some intrigue (aka Harry Potter), and suddenly, the story has to be ten thousand times longer!!!!!

And you want to know the weirdest thing? The not writing slash. I mean, writing het isn't so bad, I wrote a lot of it in the Hanson fandom, but... oh my god. I've put Harry and Draco together in two scenes in this story already, and they have just stubbornly NOT wanted to make out with each other. It's so freaking weird! Not to mention that if you wanted to read for slashy subtext, it would probably be there. Very very strange.

*clears throat* I also wanted to make it known that I will NOT be participating in NaNoWriMo, even though I signed up. I gave up at approximately 11:59PM on October 31st, when I realised that I had no ideas for a story, nor have I ever written anything over 50,000 words. (Which is a lie, anyway. Veritas was 51,000 words.) So I gave up before the thing even started. So sue me.

I have, however, committed to finishing and editing and making this story the best it can be. Whoo! I wonder what I will do with my time once I have finished this story...
