Summary: “You’re right, it’s my fault.” tears won’t stop. “I should be the one who died, not him.” he said it with bitter smiled.
“Chii,” suddenly Yamada called him when Chinen laid his head to Yamada shoulder. Make him wake and face him. It’s just two of them in Chinen room that night.
“Nande Ryo-chan?”
“Ne Chii, what will you do if I die?” he asked him, staring at sky from the window. He’s waiting for Chinen answer. But, he didn’t get his answer after waiting for a few second. He turn his face to looked at Chinen. Chinen crying. “Chii, wha-what’s happend?”
“Ryo-chan baka, why do you asked me that question. You know I never let you die.”
“Go-gomen.” he draw him into his embrace. “I’ve asked you such stupid question ne?” he can feel Chinen tears on his collarbone. That boy was shivering. “Gomen, Chii!” he stroke Chinen hair. “Shinpai suru na, Chii. I’ll not leave you. I’ll not say something like that again.” he pat Chinen head.
“Just let you know it, Ryo-chan. I will do everything to you to prevent you dying.” Yamada was smiled as he looked at Chinen messy face. He’s wiping the tears. “Ne Ryo-chan, what will you do if I’m the one who is being die?” it’s surprised Yamada. “I want to know, what do you think about died and what will happend to you if I commit to suicide one day?”
“Stupid question, deshou?”
“Demone, I want to know your answer.” he’s looking Yamada with puppy eyes, waiting the answer come out from Yamada.
“Wakarimasen, Chii. Demo, I felt something uneasy in my heart, even if I just think about it. It make me want to cry. It seems my heart shatters into a thousand pieces. Feels alone and scared.” he turn away his face from Chinen, staring to dark sky again.
“Scared?”
“Un,” he nodded and stare Chinen, “being scared of losing you.” Chinen was surprised. Then Yamada looked at the sky again. “Looks like there’s no reason to keep going my life. I would feel guilty for the rest of my life. I will blame myself and I would asked myself about what have I done to you, or why I don’t stop you when you commit to suicide. It’s killing me. Then, it’s better for me to die with you. Because....” he stare at Chinen and holding his hand tightly, “you’re my precious one and the reason I was born. So, I won’t let you die.”
“Ryo-chan....” he’s blushing hard.
“Shinpai suru na, Chii. I’ll be by yourside. That’s my promise. I’ll protect you.”
“Un,” Chinen nodded and put his arms to Yamada neck. “Then I’ll do the same to you. Because you’re my precious one and you’ve promise me to not hurting me, deshou? So I’ll let you do everything you want to me.” Chinen smiled.
“I still can feel it, Ryo-chan. When you suddenly hug and kiss me. You said tadaima when you get home and rush into me, to hugs me. You even said I missed you like hell.” Chinen said and looked at their photo as he step in Yamada room. “I always miss you too, though we’ve met every morning, every day. We spend so much time together.” tears fall down. He holding their photo so tightly.

“Chii, what happend to you? Why do you crying?” Yamada came closer and touch Chinen shoulder. He’s shivering. “Oshiete kudasai” Yamada become worried about him.
“Ryo-chan,” Chinen suddenly hug him.
“What happend???”
“I hate them, I hate all of them. They make me hate to be born!”
“They bullied you again, huh?” Yamada hold Chinen shoulders and looked at his eyes. “You get bullied again?” Chinen keep silent. “From now on, I’ll be with you, wherever you go.”
>>> a weeks later
“Doctor, what happend to him? Why he didn’t wake up?” seems Yamada was worried about something. Now, he stood in front of ICU room and force doctor to told him about Chinen condition.
“I can’t do much,” doctor said, it’s mean....he give up???
“What do you mean?”
“His ribs broken and almost stab into his heart. Fortunately it doesn’t stab his heart, but the the broken ribs have injuring several cardiac nerve. It’s mean.....his heart will be weakened gradually.” It’s shocking Yamada. “If we still want him alive, we should find donors. We should do transplantion as soon as possible.” Yamada still stood in his position without any words. “Well, I’ll try my best. I leave you.” doctor said as Daiki come to Yamada whose in shocking.
“Yama-chan, what happend?” Daiki asked him, but he didn’t get an answer. “Yama-chan,” he called him and shaking Yamada. Yamada looked at him and his body begin shudders, tears fall down. He even can’t said any words. “Yama-chan, whats going on to Chii???” Suddenly, someone punch Yamada cheek, make him fall down to floor.
“BASTARD!!”
“RYUU-CHAN!” Daiki yelled at him. “What are you doing?” asked him and help Yamada to stand up. “Mou~~~What the hell with you?” Daiki stared him badly, but suddenly it become big eyes as he saw Ryutaro come closer to punch Yamada again. Daiki hold his hand so he can’t punch Yamada again. “Hold on Ryuu-chan! What’s going on with you.”
“IT’S YOUR FAULT. YOU THE ONE WHO SHOULD DIE, NOT HIM.” He yelled at Yamada who remain to silent. “You even can’t keep your promise to me, to take care of him. I shouldn’t trust you. I loved him more than you and trying to trust you since Chii become happy being with you, but......” tears fall down from his eyes, same as Yamada. “You shouldn’t be my bestfriend. I’ve misjugded you. I think you’re better than me. But, I’m totally wrong”.
“Matte Ryuu-chan.You shouldn’t....”
“You’re right, it’s my fault.” tears won’t stop. “I should be the one who died, not him.” he said it with bitter smiled.
“Yama-chan~~” Daiki called him and come closer.
“Yeah, it’s your fault. When he got bullied, you can do nothing and you too late when you know it. And now, he got car accident because he want to safing you. For God sake, get away from him from now on. I’ll take care off him. Don’t ever see him again. ” Yamada stood there in silent. His tears still can’t stop as Ryutaro go away.

“Chii,” someone call him make him turn to that voice.
“Dai-chan~~~” his voice trembling as he looked Daiki come closer to him. He wipe his tears in rush. “What are you doing here?” he asked Daiki.
“I just want to give you this.” Daiki give him a letter.
