This is irony, right?

Five years after I first saw it at Toy Fair, my action figure holy grail has shown up on Ebay for the very first time. Something I've been pining after for years. No one ever seemed to have found one anywhere, but the company swore it was released in teensy tiny quantities somewhere on the planet. I've had a standing search the entire time, and ( Read more... )

Do post about it after the auction, please? I think we're all intrigued as to what it is.

Congratulations on three or four levels. And buy the thing.

By the by, since you're a genius at toy-fu, perhaps you can identify one from my childhood. There was an unpopular serries of bendy toys in the early eighties with a sword and sorcery theme, but I don't remeber the line's name nor the names of any characters. They were mostly sold in sets comprised of a character or two, a large animal, and a couple non-bendy servitors. The good servitor race was orange and the evil one was purple, and one of the two was called "Moggs". I remember a blonde hero, his Tonto-lookin' friend who had Skeletor feet, a large yellow bird with some red features, and some weird yellow cat-centaur. Having this little to go on, I've never been able to find information on them. Do you know what they were?

Yikes, sorry. I have absolutely no idea what that could be. Doesn't even ring a bell, and Google's giving me nothing. Apologies!
