Merry Christmas to you too, Cakes! I'm glad you liked the story. I wasn't sure I'd finish it in time, but luckily I squeezed in some time at the last minute ;)

Hope you and the fam are having an awesome Christmas!

I know I already gushed over this story via email, but I must do so again: AWWW! Love this story! It's incredibly endearing, and I wanted to hug Nicholas so many times throughout it. This one definitely has that magical holiday feel that all Christmas stories should have! I enjoyed reading this even more the second time, and am so glad that I managed to do so before midnight, when it was still Christmas. ;)

Aww, thanks. I'm really glad you liked it and it had that sweet/magical Christmas touch. That's what I was aiming for and I'm glad you think I achieved it. These are the kind of Christmas stories I love and really hoped to "replicate" the feel. Thanks for reading (and for all your help too). I really, really appreciate it!

Next year, maybe I'll shoot for funny Christmas - though I'm not very funny so it may be hard. ::shrugs:: This Christmas short story things we did was fun. Too bad P had too much going on. Hopefully, next time we'll all be able to participate!

Pff, you can be funny! I'd love to see you attempt that for your story next Christmas. It'd be a nice contrast to this one. :)

And yeah, too bad about P and her story. Life just gets in the way like that sometimes. (Like, I had planned to write a super-short Christmas story for Sisters Fate on Christmas, but I didn't get home from my sister's until 11PM-ish, and at that point, I was all...eehhhh.) Maybe all three of us should try writing Christmas stories at a ridiculously early time like March, then tweak them when it's December and finally share? Hahaha!

March, such a wise move. Maybe not that early, but definitely earlier than we started this year. I'm totally game for that!

This story was one of the most sparkly and wonderful parts of my Christmas. I read it on Christmas Day and it really did help perk me up Christmas-wise since all the crazy/stress/meltdown-kids had all but killed the holiday spirit!

I had happy tears at the end, Noel and Nicholas are defiantly last minute additions to my Top 10 Couples of 2010! TOO SWEET!!!!

Aw, I'm so happy that you liked it and that it drew tears! Also, that it could help perk up your Christmas. All of these things were my intent and it feels so good to think I achieved them ;)

I'm also really happy to hear you loved Noel and Nicholas enough for them to make the Top 10 Couples of 2010!

I can't wait for your story to finally make it up. Here's me nudging you to finish... ::nudge-nudge:: :)

Thank you for reading it and enjoying it to the point of having difficulty expressing it! ;) I really appreciate you shooting over here from Patricia's blog (as that's where I'm assuming you came from). Gotta love Crit Partner shout outs :P
