As promised, a Christmas short story. I hope you enjoy ;) Merry Christmas, friends! *The picture that inspired the story is near the end, and the song I listened to while writing is also listed*

I know I already gushed over this story via email, but I must do so again: AWWW! Love this story! It's incredibly endearing, and I wanted to hug Nicholas so many times throughout it. This one definitely has that magical holiday feel that all Christmas stories should have! I enjoyed reading this even more the second time, and am so glad that I managed to do so before midnight, when it was still Christmas. ;)

Aww, thanks. I'm really glad you liked it and it had that sweet/magical Christmas touch. That's what I was aiming for and I'm glad you think I achieved it. These are the kind of Christmas stories I love and really hoped to "replicate" the feel. Thanks for reading (and for all your help too). I really, really appreciate it!

Next year, maybe I'll shoot for funny Christmas - though I'm not very funny so it may be hard. ::shrugs:: This Christmas short story things we did was fun. Too bad P had too much going on. Hopefully, next time we'll all be able to participate!

Pff, you can be funny! I'd love to see you attempt that for your story next Christmas. It'd be a nice contrast to this one. :)

And yeah, too bad about P and her story. Life just gets in the way like that sometimes. (Like, I had planned to write a super-short Christmas story for Sisters Fate on Christmas, but I didn't get home from my sister's until 11PM-ish, and at that point, I was all...eehhhh.) Maybe all three of us should try writing Christmas stories at a ridiculously early time like March, then tweak them when it's December and finally share? Hahaha!

March, such a wise move. Maybe not that early, but definitely earlier than we started this year. I'm totally game for that!

OMG YES! I totally need to get started earlier... lol, my story is still coming, it's just going to be late to the "party"... :)
