Something Wicked Tut - Photoshop Elements

My first tutorial! Since so many were asking about how I achieved the look, I thought I might as well make some use out of my holidays and tell people!

Tell me if you've got any problems.
Probably not dial-up safe, lots of images.
Made with Photoshop Elements, probably translatable.

Thanks! I'm glad it's helpful. I only just got Photoshop CS for x-mas, so while I had Elements, I decided to try and achieve different effects with the tools I had. I'm quite happy with the outcome, and I'm glad you are too!

Thanks! I've wanted to do an icon using two pictures for a while and I finally figured it was time to :P

Thanks! It is a bit complex, but it was mostly just fiddling around on my part to get the effect :P The multicolored squares were made by selecting different colours from the final icon and drawing little squares with a small pencil/brush.

Yeah, I've had PSE for over 2 years, and I've always had trouble finding some nice PSE tutorials. So I kinda just taught myself :P
