I bought the Pati Pati magazine last Saturday and was so excited to read the first real article about Gackt in a year that I decided to translate it right away. Between class and work, that is. XD

I've been dying to hear him talk about the new song, thanks so much for this translation!! Rebirth is my favorite concept and album, and one of the things i secretly like so much about it is how it's unique from his other works. So it was great to hear him carefully considering how to make a sequel. I can't wait to see what this all looks like on the stage (once the dvd comes out...) :)

Ooh, that's interesting. ^^ Some of my fave songs come from Rebirth, but as a whole, I find it somewhat lacking when compared to Mars or the other works. ^^; But yes, most people say that Rebirth is different from his other albums. I should try and figure out exactly where. XD

Me too!! I'm disappointed that it's not Moon, but it's not like I hate Rebirth so I quite look forward to seeing the whole story/concept. :D

Honestly spoken, I was very surprised, too, when I saw which way he decided to head to, a few months back ^^°

I love Rebirth as much as I love Moon, therefore I don't exactly mind him picking Rebirth up instead of Moon. :) I think Rebirth is going to be quite violent, still beautiful nontheless -

To be honest, I was quite disappointed that it wasn't related to Moon Project.

Me too... But after having read this interview and of course after listening million times to "Jesus" I'm about to change my mind... And yet he didn't state that all was over with Moon saga... so I prefer to think that he just postponed it for some reasons... and it also gives me time to collect all the parts of Moon that he's already released and try to understand it^^

I've been waiting for it for close to 2 years, and suddenly instead of Moon, he gives me Rebirth!

Yeah T_T I was feeling the same... And only after the interview I've remembered that he hates doing what all are expecting from him... and loves to surpass the expectations at the same time. So stopped worrying. Whatever he does - it will be great and surprising.

Haha, exactly. You just guessed correctly the reason for him doing Rebirth instead of Moon. XD Suddenly postponing Moon does make more of an impact than if he had followed his original plan.

Oh I wasn't disappointed because of that. ^^ I know he's going to pick it up again. He is never one to stop what he's doing halfway! I guess my feeling is like that of a kid who has had the candy she wanted for a very long time placed right in front of her, and which was suddenly snatched away just as she was about to eat it. GIVE ME MY CANDY BACK, YO! XD

But I'm also excited to see this coming tour and what he has in store for us. ^^ And I'm just plain happy to see him back doing music and releasing songs. :3

Well, actually I didn't guess but I've read about it in the interview... at least I think I got it right, though I read it late at night without dictionary ^_~

Lol, I understand your feelings... I was also longing for new chapter of Moon saga... *likes moon-candies* But yay, as I could understand from nine*nine bonus DVD, Justified is from that famous "after-Diabolos-album", that should have been released, but nope..
And he also said in one of the interviews (this one? don't remember exactly) that Justified won't be played at this concert, but on the next one... sooo.... I hope it means that the next one will be a part of Moon saga again^^

P.S. Would you mind if I re-translate some parts of this interview and post them in my LJ? I'd just wanted to share with my friends his thoughts about Jesus, for example...

You are welcome!! :D Hahaha, to the music scene, it's considered a come back because he has been away for a very long time. (with the exception of Returner released last June/July) Especially for someone like him who used to be very active in the music scene. After all, he used to release a few singles and an album every year in the past! :D
