There was a day, he decided to go in the school hall after the majority of students went home because school was done for the day. His mood was gloomy, and he felt like walking alone. As he was near the end of the hall, he saw a figure sitting and leaning on a wall close to the window.

Maybe I was too straightforward with my second comment but no, I don't think you should have written it in any other way. It's just you left too much to interpretation and I'm not good at infering things. That would be your style (which I may like or not).
But I do think that what I said about the names will certainly help make things clearer in your next fic ;-)
