So on the evil idiot co-worker.... wednesday of last week the manager and i had a talk about what i could do about erik(basically nothing) and i'm tired of being told 'he's hostile towards you because you let him get to you' ok FINE i decided to fight fire with flowers. How young is this twit? You would think he is a two year old by the way he acts.

Good luck with the good natured line of attack. It sounds like it's going well. =) Like they say, "Kill them with kindness". If they push your buttons move them around. LOL

I know from personal experience that when you have a set way of letting someone get to you and they are doing it just to be a dick - if you stop responding and start responding in a completely different manor it freaks them out and drives them nuts that they can't piss you off anymore. Try to reavel in that satisfaction and KNOW that you're making him bonkers inside!

I would bet money he will snap and go too far in being a dick and get himself into a boatload of trouble. That's what happened to the guy who was being a jerk to me - he got himself fired actually.

There are always going to be people at any job that you do not get along with. Take it from me.... You recall my situation.. My advice, be sweet as candy to them. Continue speaking to them in a sweet professional manner and make certain that someone else is around should you have to speak with them so that they can hear the conversation and the attitude when given...

It works... take it from me.

I'm surprised he's not gotten fired yet, with that kind of attitude. o_O; Surely, if he thinks it's more important to bug you than to help his customers, he will eventually be fired I hope. Sounds like that kid's got some problems.

He's in the hot boat now and has been for a while but they keep giving him more chances because he's a warm body that theoretically knows what he's doing.
