to couchsurf or not to couchsurf, that is the question...

it would be so much more interesting, but i could end up in some potentially off-putting situations... but i guess i could always just check into a hotel if all goes wrong, right? right...!

ahhhhh!!!! i'm SOOOOOO tired of such contradictory thought cycles!

this all goes back to my time-worn question... is it better to stick to your guns and be selfish or be the bigger person and be selfless? there has got to be a principled balance in there somewhere... if only i could figure out what it was.

my street sparkles... because of all the broken glass chips covering it. i've only noticed since the snow melted and the sun came out. anyway, greenwood sparkles. :)

thinking that life is just too difficult sometimes. yet, if it were any less difficult, i'd probably know a lot less and be a lot less grateful too. perhaps the hard part about life isn't even dealing with all the screwballs that it throws at you; it's remembering that it throws more than just screwballs.

i'm only a few reasons short of running away with a one way ticket to europe to see what happens.

while i was looking at recipes today at work, i was reminded of how much i love and/or miss rosemary. strange, yes. then, i remembered the amount of things that came in rosemary flavor in france... SO MANY! it was amazing. rosemary & goat cheese chips. rosemary pretzel sticks. rosemary and olive oil breads. rosemary cookies. of course, let's not ( Read more... )
