Why do I always do these picspams when I should be revising for upcoming exams?

Hello flist! I return once more into the land of LJ, with a fairly pretty picspam to ease me back in.

I LOVED this scene. I actually did kind of like Santos after he started getting his act together for Hilda and Justin.

I was sort of on my way to thinking more of him before he got killed! I think I must have liked him more than I thought because I was so sad!

Thanks for commenting :D

Ugh, this scene really was amazing! great picspam!

I live in NYC and, oooh, you can see the real West Side Story right now on Broadway! That's my next show I want to see. Also, as far as food goes, if you like burgers, go to Burger Joint. It's in the Le Parker Meridian hotel on 47th, I think. Best burger ever. Seriously.

Umm, since you have limited time, I might skip the Empire State Building cause it's expensive (like $30 or something) and can take a long time waiting in line. Maybe walk across the Brooklyn Bridge (amazing views!) and take in a show and just walk around NYC. You could also try the Statue of Liberty which is awesome, but can be cold (it's snowing today!)

I'd go to Rockefeller Center maybe (you can go to the Top of the Rock which I believe is cheaper and has shorter wait time) and obviously Central Park! :D

Thank you! I'm glad so many people love this scene too :D

Man, I can't go see WSS because as much as the trip is for my birthday, the whole family is going and my brother loathes it. It's sad but true! I'm definitely going to try and check out that burger place, I just put a little asterix on my map! I love a good burger more than pretty much everything :D

I'm going to try to get to the Brooklyn Bridge, and hopefully the Rockefeller Center also. I think we're thinking of doing a boat trip as well, and seeing the Statue that way. It's pretty weather dependent though, I'm sad it's so cold, it's been pretty nice here and I left all my winter clothes in my flat back at uni. I'm going to have to dig some old ones out!

Thank you so much for all the info and suggestions, it's so useful!

Season 1 was brilliant and it hasn't quite reached those heights again. It's still pretty enjoyable though!

Oh man, way to kill me Ana Ortiz. This scene broke my heart into tiny little pieces the first time around.

Also, I don't know you, but re: NYC - if you want to do a musical on the cheap (well, as cheap as theatre gets, I suppose), I'd give The Marvelous Wonderettes a try - they have student rush tickets available 95% of the time and if that isn't an option, broadwaybox.com has a discount code that allows for tickets under $50. Plus, it is a lot of fun. Just a pure, happy go lucky show. If you want to go all out, though, I'd say Next to Normal or 9 to 5 - they both just started previews and are basically the front runners for this year's Tony awards (particularly Alice Ripley in Next to Normal and Stephanie Block in 9 to 5).

I swear, she breaks my heart a little everytime I watch this. She's brilliant.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. The newest musicals on Broadway obviously haven't made it over here yet so I have no clue what's good and what's not! Next to Normal looks really interesting, I'd like to see if I could check it out!
