Today was most defiantly an interesting day. I lost one of my patients today. He died at 1600 in front of me. Its not an easy thing to walk into your patients room knowing that he doesn't have long to live and find him not breathing. I feel hurt, I feel numb, I'm afraid, I'm crushed. I dont know what to do, how to help, how to comfort. I'm at a loss for words. The pain inside is unbearable but some how I continue to hang on. Whether it be hope, faith or both I know that it will be ok and that we will be stronger in the end.

God gives and God takes but its up to us to see the good in everything He does no matter how hard it may be.

I hate when people complain about how hard their life is and how bad they have it. Last thursday I was at clinical at Cobough hospital and got the opportunity to help deliver a baby boy. The maternity unit is part of the surgical floor that Im on so when I heard that their was a mother in labour I asked if I could watch.
