James and stuff

James did not have a good first full day.  When I came home with Liz, James came and greeted me out at the car like he always does, and when I asked how his day was his face just fell and said it was terrible and he didn't want to talk about it and went inside.  Every time I asked how his day at school was he just said something to the effect that ( Read more... )

That is too cute. I wouldn't want white milk if I could have chocolate either.

Your kids sound so sweet hun. Tell James to try and have a better day. If he comes home the same way today I think I'd either take him to school and talk to his teacher or call his teacher. It's not fun for them if they are miserable and I don't want to see him getting discouraged. yeah for Thomas, they sound like they are getting so big. HUGS

Thanks, I like to think they are. :)

I did. My mom takes them to school since I am already gone, before they leave and she works where they go to school. But I did tell him to have a better day. He is really going to try for that chocolate milk today. I think a big part of it is learning the classroom rules.

I will talk to Susan (Ms. Russell, his teacher) if he hasn't gotten better this afternoon. I want him to love school, not come home unhappy.

I was so proud of him. I hate that they are getting so big, but it's good too.

Guess I need a new av that really shows how big they really are-these pics are about 3 years old I think.

Okay, I had to tell you that the first thing that came to mind upon reading this was that "frownies" could be an evil sort of brownie - made with brussel sprouts! :-P :-)

Awwww, but brussel sprouts are nummy. ;)

yes they are yummy! :)

6 months ago I would have said theye were yucky (remnants of a childhood taste test gone wrong). Once I tasted them again at the age of 36, I was pleasantly suprised and even crave them now! Go figure!

*L* ok, maybe I'll give them another chance. My hubby only eats them with buitter and garlic, so I'll let him make them for me.

Random: Would one of your children like my Harry Potter poster that I received on opening night from the last book? I'm not actually going to put it up anywhere. I don't have room in my cubicle for it.

I hope James has a better day today!

Yes, we got one but the boys have been bickering over it, they both want it for their rooms. *L* So for now it is staying in Thomas' room.

I thinkhe will, he is aiming for that chocolate milk. :) What a goal to have...yes to have a good day, must get chocolate milk. If only it were that easy.

P.S. LOVE your icon!!!!

Well when I get to meet James, I'll give him my Harry Potter poster so that they don't have to bicker about that any longer.

We should get together for lunch or dinner again sometime.

We probably should before Ella comes. When will she be here again? I forgot the dates...I never write them down.

I've recently taken up therapy for the first time in my life....and even though I usually bawl most of that hour...I feel relief to let it all out also!

Crying I find is cathartic though. I'm glad therapy is helping you.

I miss therapy, the last time was the student offered counseling services on campus about 3 years ago, but that only lasted about 3 months, I wish I hadn't stopped. Heck I miss the "family" sessions with De.

I wish Elle would take her therapy seriously and not just tell the therapist what she thinks she is supposed to just to get out. Sorry tangent.
