Can you believe it, in the last three days I have read the first three Harry Potter books again. I really need to go back to my book entries and add them to my little chart thingy. Tom and I are both re-reading the series.I had forgotten how much fun they are and how hard they are to put down.

Today was definately a lazy Sunday.

Those books look pretty much like something I would have eaten up-- if I was a teen nowadays!

I had quite a variety of tastes through my teen years, from historical romances (some trash, some very good, some in between...)to science fiction and fantasy.

It's great she's got something to read , and it looks like it tries to encourage grrrrlpower, and diversity.

I am suprised they've not started to make movies out of them!

I think I would have liked them as a teen to, I haven't actually read them yet, I probably should.

They seem to really encourage her, it's the first thing I have been able to get her to read in several years without tieing her down, and I enjoyed stuff like that. She does ask questions and we can discuss it, so it opens up new avenues.

Yes, I think they would make interesting teen movies, or even a TV series.
