First Day

Jan 10, 2007 21:32

Today was the first day back at classes. I have two professors I've never had before, one I can tell is not going to be half, bad, I may even really like him. The other, I will probably do A LOT of complaining about her in here. She has an attitude like she has something to prove ( Read more... )

yeah, you'll like him. He's very likeable. (is that spelled right???)

Who teaches social psych? I really wanted to take that, but I don't have the requirements for it...I haven't taken Intro to Psych & I think you have to have it.

I too am a bit nervous about Hoover's workload...but I don't think it's my lightest. I'm going to try to get going early & work on everything I can as much as I can.

I meant to tell you, you looked cute today ;)

I do like him-thus far.

Dr. Collins, but I dropped for Death and Dying with Miss Jan on T/T @ 1:30 instead. I had intro to Psych long ago.

Hoovers workload is very intimidating. I am a procrastinator, so I can only hope and pray. *L* Noo I am doing well at scheduling myself thus far, and actually doing my work.

Thank sweetie. Trying to get in the habit of wearing make-up to school again.

yeah, i'm intimidated. I'm working on Africa. I was afraid you'd dropped, because he sent out this email about the book in the bookstore & you weren't on the list. I thought you'd already had D & D?

No, I didn't drop. What e-mail, the syllabus e-mail? I got that too. Nope, never had it. Yeah I picked up the map and filled it in, now I just have to memorize it. *sigh*

Go to it.....the last lap now...........when people annoy you try and see what they are driving at.......what are they trying to say.......what do they want you to do? (That'll help when you are teaching as well as in your own learning).....I know our youngest was driven round the twist by one of his Maths teachers.......but he didn't have the choice of dropping the course and in the end he came out with the highest of any of his marks.....
Keep at it.....if it means cutting down on time on line so be it......the family and your work ought to come first .....does that sound like a lecture? sorry if it does....

Grumpy old man.
