Fairytale Weather...

The weather today was incredible. This morning at breakfast, I could see heavy mist creeping up from the woods behind our house, hiding the trunks of trees. All during work I stared out the windows; the sky was grey almost to the point of whiteness, thick with darkened clouds that hung low and drifted as aimlessly as smoke. It rained on and off, ( Read more... )

Hi Olivia ^^ I'm Sanyu/Katie/currently liking the strange name Katibelle. I like that you use the word "demoiselle" for Lolita; would you mind if I started using it myself? :]

Ahh Princess Day! What sort of things do you have planned so far? I haven't got a clue what I'll do yet! @_@

Hello! I like the name Katibelle! It makes me think of a cat, or a fairy for some reason. Feel free to use the term demoiselle as much as you like, dear. ^^
I don't really have anything planned for Princess Day yet, but I am thinking strongly about a park near my house. It's very green there, a little secluded, with many shady trees and a big lovely white gazebo. There is even a little lake where two swans live! I'm wondering if May will be early enough to enjoy a walk or a picnic there before mosquitoe season, or if all partipants would be eaten alive.

Being right next to the water it can get pretty bad, at least evenings during the August-September end of the season. However, I've never visited there before that time, so I don't know if it's just a temporary thing or not. I will have to do a little investigating once the weather gets warmer.
I've also been thinking about going out for tea, but obviously I'm not decided on anything yet. It would really be much simpler if I had some lolita friends to hang out with, but I'm the only loli I actually physically know, which makes planning a "loli activity" rather interesting...
I think, however, that no matter what I do for Princess Day, a ridiculously luxuriant bubble bath must be part of it.
