Eureka! I have found it...and it's not gold, either.

The future is too daunting a subject. That's why I'm ever so grateful for the past and the pleasant distractions of the future. And books...I love those stinkin' things. Like the Bell Jar, haha. I love putting myself inside of her and seeing the world, just for one second, like her in her suicidal state. I always tell myself that the reason I dwell ( Read more... )

I KNOW! It's so amazing.

LOL, especially with the vest. Shawn looked better with one, though, I think. ^^

Yay, somehow it escaped me that you like Monk, I have yet to see the latest episode, but anyway - definitely my favourite tv show ♥ I love your thoughts on books and I envy you the "distance" part, I really have difficulty sometimes not relating to characters too much, particularly if they're depressive/suicidal types (for instance like Virginia Woolf in Cunningham's "Hours"), that's why I constantly put off reading "Jar Glass"...

Haha, I love that show!! I Tivo every single episode. ^^ The last one was really good! Ugh, such a good show.

Thanks. Mmm, books. Well, I dunno, but I can put myself into people's shoes really easily...especially the depressed, deeper people. Shallow characters are no fun because there's no emotion to invest in them. I read books to attain the emotion, then have it resolved at the end. I could care less what happens, just so long as I get to ride the roller coaster of their experience with them. Hmm, I'll have to look those books up. ^^ Or maybe put aside the suicidal characters for a bit, lol.

I often wish that I owned a Delorean, therefore making it possible for me to travel to the 60's and do just what you mentioned.

Lame gay jokes included? :P I'm so joining you, then. I need to be at that UFO club seeing the Pink Floyd live.
