• I turned my book in to the publisher. Finally. It involved another edit, a bunch of header coding, a footnote document, and a style guide.
  
• Had a really bad day on Wednesday--everything I touched broke! I broke my washing machine, the printer, the toilet, and a marker (which leaked all over what I was drawing).

• Just a week left before my book is due to the publisher! I asked for a style guide from my editor and she actually gave it to me, so now I get to code the manuscript too. Whee.
  
• I got a remarkably short haircut. Yes, I chopped more than a foot of my hair off. It's just above my shoulders. Eep!

• I spent a lot of the week dealing with preparations to go see my sister, brother-in-law, and new nephew! I booked plane tickets and lodging for my mother and me. We'll be leaving on New Year's Eve and coming back January 6. I can't wait! But I'm not looking forward to the cold. Ohhhhh no.
