Dreamy icons

Feb 22, 2010 10:29

Had a dream early this morning that I kept getting comments on my LiveJournal entries, but every single response to my well-thought-out, interesting entry was a comment on loving someone's icon. Over and over again, I'd open to see what someone had to say and it was always "OMG I love your icon!" or "squeeeeee icon love <3 XD" or something. Just ( Read more... )

oh god those icon comments are so annoying, in communities it's like that, sometimes the very 1st comment in a thread is: "off topic but i like your icon!' and the person whose icon they're complimenting wouldn't have even made the icon most probably anyway! you just wanna slap them across the face, haha.

Hello there! I'm Lisa. I was going to comment on the post you made on asexuality, but after watching more and more of your YouTube videos I saw from the link, my comments became less and less relevant to that specific post. So, I decided to post on your journal with a friend request ( ... )

Hi Lisa. I'm really happy you moved from looking at my work to kind of experiencing me as a person, and that you liked what you saw. This comment you made is exactly the kind of thing that reminds me of why I bother to do what I do: it attracts kindred spirits who have been listening to the same voices as I am all along ( ... )

I think that's one of the things that makes the internet so wonderful. It's very difficult to find people who have things in common to you when you're only limited to those who happen to live near you or be in the same general area, but when you open that limit to anyone who owns a computer and an internet connection, the chances are much greater.

Most agents or publishers usually tell me my books are too short. They're all under 50,000 words, and I'm told it's not considered a full novel unless it goes over that. I just don't like anything that's too long because it seems drawn out to me.

I did see the pictures from the faire! Your costumes are so pretty! I absolutely love medeival/Renaissance clothing, and I wish we could still get away with wearing stuff like that on an everyday basis! I have an album on my Facebook with pictures of all the costumes I've made, but most of them are reproductions from movies or video games.

I just watched your "Popular" video, and you really do sound a lot like Kristin Chenoweth! Plus, I ( ... )

OMG, we're neighbors! And I was born in New Jersey!

I went to Disney just a couple weeks ago (EPCOT), but it was my first trip there since I was 11. I don't really go unless someone wants to take me there. I don't drive, so it is hard for me to get places. I had a great time at EPCOT though. (If you go far enough back in my journal, just a couple weeks, there are pics, but they actually aren't too interesting.) To tell you the truth, I'm not much of a Disney girl (probably sounds like blasphemy, heh), because there are a few things many of their movies do that get under my skin, and I was a Warner Bros. girl from early on, worked in the WB chat room and was obsessed with Animaniacs and whatnot. But even when I talk about what I don't like about Disney, I always acknowledge what they do right. :D

Thanks for watching the video. I got my dress at Rainbow. Yay! I know of Pushing Daisies and I knew Kristin was in it but I don't really watch TV--don't have cable and so basically I watch what people put in front of me and if I ( ... )
