Lan party - never heard of it until this post! Sounds cool! Is it just computers or Nintendos/Playstations/Xboxs etc as well sometimes?
Hey did Rent have Jai Rodriguez performing? He's awesome, you're lucky to have seen him if you did, and Melanie Brown was supposed to have performed but not sure if it was in the one you saw. I'm not aware of what Rent is about actually.
Yay! will keep an eye out for the present - yours should be slowly but surely on its' way to Floridaland. :)
The worm thing is amusing! How yukky, there's a bug for all occasions!
All in all you have such a fun life! What a nice way to spend your days before Christmas :D

Well ordinarily since "LAN" stands for "Local Area Network" it is indeed a computer term, but I don't know if it's typical to hook up other kinds of network-able game systems as well. Maybe so, but it might not be a LAN party then since these systems are designed for that and don't need to be in a networked system to work together.

Nope, the touring group I saw was mostly the original Broadway folks but Rodriguez wasn't in ours unless I'm mistaken. . . .

And as you know I got the package. :)

Let's hear it for good times with friends and family! Yeek(!) about the mites and worm-resembling rubber band, though!

Package GET!!!

My roommate is telling me to open it because she wants to know what it is. But I am waiting (possibly until the 25th) because I like anticipation and plus it doesn't feel like the holiday season yet (well, I did just go make wreaths so now it kind of does).

YAY ANTICIPATION. :D

Yay for package GET!!!

Um . . . I'm kinda nervous about the package being in that tubey thing too long actually, so maybe you can open it early. ^__^ I'm a little concerned about it being squished in there and there is another consumable type thing that I started worrying would break apart and mess up the other thing in there. I didn't pack it as great as I should have. (I'm probably worrying for no reason but you know how it is.) Besides cookies, yours is one of only two gifts that is handmade for the holidays, so I was especially nervous about its delivery. :/

People used to make menorot out of potatoes if they were too poor to own a menorah or had fallen upon hard times and had to sell theirs, but a grapefruit sounds kinda … squirty.

You know, I've heard that about menorah potatoes before. But just leave it to my dear grandma to find a way to make a squirty menorah. (My dad asked if she ate it after. She says she thinks she did not.)

Yeah, I can't imagine it'd be very good with wax drippings.
