I've been thinking about this kind of thing a lot lately too. (Ooooh...it's downright eeeeerie that we both are thinking about this! We must have telepathy! Or, you know, just be similar enough that we occasionally think about the same thing at the same time. ;p

Yeah, I know about Indigo children. And I understand what they're talking about but I don't think they're people with consciousness that comes from outer space or something. (I heard the author on a nutty radio program once. Indigo Children and Crystal Children or something.)
I think for the most part whatever grains of truth there might be to psychic phenomena is probably not actually "perception without sensation" (like they say it is) so much as it's the ability to make observations on very small signals that go undetected by most people, or maybe even the ability to process signals that other people's radar doesn't actually detect. Blah blah blah etc. etc. I definitely think that the people who make money on TV shows saying they're talking to people's dead relatives are just doing cold reading. And that just covers up and invalidates anything that might really be there with regards to extraordinary claims . . . and it makes anyone who has an open mind to it look like a crystal-worshipping New Age Tard.
Jewelry, you sure do have a big sexy brain! I am in a constant state of mental fatigue from having to listen to acquaintances of all stripes express casual belief in the downright illogical.
