Chapter: 04
Summary: Two angels have to guard the lives of their loved ones. What happens when those lives intertwine together?
DISCLAIMER: This by all means is not related to anyone from B2ST and I do not own any of them. Their names and looks were used for the sole purpose to be a base on fictional characters. (I have no information ff Dongwoon is an angel in real life, but I would highly approve of it going public. Same goes for the other five.)
“You just have no idea what happened!” the voice on the other end said and Doojoon sounded something between too exhausted from running and panicked and maybe chipper, but the chipper was really small part in the whole combination.
“What?”
“Seunggie came back in Korea!” now his friend sounded more chipper and Dongwoon stopped in his tracks. “He phoned me five minutes ago.”
“What?!”
“Seunggie, Hyunseung - our best friend!” said again Doojoon and Dongwoon could picture his friend gesturing with his hands. “He said he’s opening a store in Korea, so he came back.”
“Just when I thought I got rid of him.” Whined Dongwoon and continued his walk.
“Yah, you brat!” scolded him the older man and Dongwoon got a hint of laugher in his best friend’s voice. “He’ll be staying with us for awhile, so when you come home he will be there. Don’t be like usual, we haven’t seen him in two years.”
“Hyung, you know I love him but when he’s clingy I can’t stand it and you know that too.” Dongwoon heard a grunt from the other line and he sighed. “Okay, I will behave. But only for today.”
“Thank you.”
“And I’m telling him about Yoseob, so make sure you have a date before you come home.” And the younger man hung up, turning his phone on silent. Of course Doojoon had to re-dial him and of course he didn’t pick up and more than of course he had to receive a really threatening message. Not that it will work on the younger boy, he was used to it by now and he knew that these threads were just thin air and meant nothing.
The moment Dongwoon passed the door to their apartment later that day Hyunseung lashed himself on his neck and kissed his cheek with a ‘welcome home’ chipped from the pretty man.
“Hyung!” whined the boy and got himself out from the older’s embrace, getting to the couch and plopping down. The chestnut haired boy sat beside him and hugged Dongwoon’s chest, resting his head there.
“I missed you.” The older whined and looked up with his huge puppy eyes that made Dongwoon groan.
“Didn’t you have a boyfriend or something?” asked the younger rising an eyebrow.
“There was no chemistry so we broke up.” Hyunseung answered smiling, but then something seemed to light in his mind and he quickly straightened up, taking Dongwoon’s face in his hands. “There is one freaky hot neighbor of yours that I want for a model, do introduce me to him.”
“Um… Gi Kwang? A little shorter than you with black hair and almond eyes?” asked Dongwoon confused from the explanation. He’s the only guy Dongwoon knew in the building that fit the freaky hot guy description. Well, maybe the grandpa on the second floor, id Hyunseung wanted to make clothes for old people now.
“No, it’s not that one. But you’re cute together.” Hyunseung commented pursing his lips and releasing his friend’s face.
“Oh, I’m so killing Doojoon. I bet he didn’t tell you he’s crushing on his neighbor since we moved in.” said Dongwoon, smirking at the spark that lit up in his friend’s eyes.
“He didn’t.” Hyunseung answered and rested back, facing Dongwoon. “I’m listening.”
“He’s as tall as Gi Kwang, light brown hair, really sparkly eyes, talkative, cute; he seems from the cheerful type, really friendly.”
“That sounds like Doojoonnie’s type.” Commented Hyunseung and then pursed his lips again. “There was someone like this with the guys I saw.”
“Did you see where they went?” asked Dongwoon resting his head on his hand and looking at the older boy.
“I believe it was three apartments down. And I think the shorter one looked me quite quizzically when I got out to see Doojoonnie.”
“That must have been Yoseob, the guy Doojoon likes.”
“Yup, definitely his type.” Agreed Hyunseung nodding before turning to the younger one again. “So who was the guy with him? Tall, not exactly skinny, but the build matched him, blond, small piercing eyes and heart shaped lips. I really want that guy for a model; he matches so well with the idea of my new collection.”
“I have no idea. But we can ask Yoseob when he comes back I believe it was tomorrow or something, or I can ask Gi Kwang.”
“Aw, what will I do when both my boys get themselves boyfriends?!” whined the designer and again lashed himself on Dongwoon, pouting. Dongwoon only rolled his eyes and grunted when Hyunseung nuzzled his nose in his chest.
“Seunggie-hyung, please find yourself a boyfriend and leave me alone.” Hyunseung stuck his tongue out and got up, pulling Dongwoon’s arm.
“First let’s go buy ingredients so you can cook me ddukbokki! I really want to eat it!” Dongwoon whined, but got up nonetheless and walked behind his cheerful friend. Hyunseung was not a bad friend; it was just that sometimes Dongwoon wished that he wasn’t the one there when Doojoon’s first life threatening accident happened.
School today for Gi Kwang was boring. There really wasn’t something much going on, even the club he was supervising (instead of the teacher whose name was officially put for it) had the day off, because more of the people in it were sophomores and they had an important test coming up. Yoseob sent him a text earlier to tell him that he is leaving and will be back tomorrow (when Gi Kwang will be visiting his family) and that Junhyung was with him, so he shouldn’t worry, though even with that the future teacher couldn’t avoid worrying. Yoseob was just not under his watch and despite the fact that he could prevent what may happen to his friend even from another country, Gi Kwang was worried. What if something went wrong this time and Yoseob broke his arm or leg without him knowing?
But as soon as his best friend e-mailed him the picture of him and Dongwoon, mentioning again how cute they are and that he will even frame the picture, Gi Kwang really stopped worrying. He was too mad at Yoseob to care if his friend will scratch his finger or break his leg, because the other apparently sent the picture to Doojoon too. And besides: Junhyung was with Yoseob, so he really shouldn’t worry.
Junhyung was Yoseob’s second best buddy from work. The guy was as old as Doojoon and he was working in the firm where Yoseob had been trained (and he was his supervisor). Junhyung really wasn’t a bad guy. He was handsome, charismatic, funny, cute and shy sometimes, and he was really obvious at crushing on Gi Kwang, which led the guardian to avoid him as much as possible. Not that Gi Kwang didn’t like him - he did, but as a friend and nothing more.
“Mr. Lee?” came a voice and Gi Kwang looked up to find Choi Dong Wook - a hella handsome literature teacher six years older than him. He smiled at the man and stood up to bow.
“Good work today.” Said the teacher in training and received a pat on the shoulder.
“You don’t have club activities today, right?” Gi Kwang nodded and the older man smiled. “Head home then, only the teachers with club activities are here.”
“I usually stay behind, so it’s like a habit.” Gi Kwang admitted scratching his neck and smiling sheepishly. “Have a good day, Mr. Choi.” The man nodded and headed to his own club, while Gi Kwang went out thinking what to buy for dinner, since today he was alone.
Gi Kwang was pondering on whether he should buy apples or oranges when he heard someone calling his name. When he turned around he saw a tall male with chestnut color and a few orange and blond strands in it. The male was smiling at him and took a few steps to him, which made the shorter boy to smile too.
“Getting home from work?” Dongwoon asked and looked towards the oranges.
“Yes, today there were no club activities, so I got home early.” Gi Kwang said and reached to take a few of the juicy fruits.
“Dongwoonnie!” came a foreign voice and a few seconds later there was a tall pretty boy hanging on Dongwoon’s back. “I want ice cream.”
“Hyung.” The tall male grunted and the moment he did the other lashed himself out of Dongwoon and smiled at Gi Kwang.
“You’re Dongwoonnie’s neighbor, right? I’m Hyunseung, their childhood friend, don’t misunderstand, ok?” he extended his hand for a shake and when Gi Kwang did shake it he turned to Dongwoon again. “I want chocolate, you?”
“Whatever just quickly, I really want to get home.” Said Dongwoon and pushed the male away. “Don’t mind him; he will just bother us for a few weeks perhaps.” Dongwoon pointed out when Hyunseung was out of sight.
“He seems nice.” Gi Kwang said in thought and a minute later Hyunseung was back with a box of chocolate ice cream and three chocolate flavored ice cream sticks.
“Hyung, why the ice cream sticks?” asked Dongwoon not quite getting his friend’s idea.
“For when we walk home, of course.” Then he turned to Gi Kwang smiling. “You do like chocolate, right?” Gi Kwang nodded and Hyunseung’s smile got even wider. “Everyone likes chocolate.”
That’s how five minutes later the three of them found themselves walking down the road, Hyunseung telling Gi Kwang about the live in the States and Dongwoon patiently listening and making a few comments here and there, which earned him a nudge or a swat at the back of the head.
“But what made you come back?” asked Gi Kwang, finishing his ice cream.
“I’m opening a new store here.” Answered Hyunseung confidently biting the stick of his already finished candy.
“He’s actually the owner of JS style.” Dongwoon added in and Gi Kwang stopped in his tracks, mouth open.
“Yoseob is going to freak out. He loves your clothes.” Hyunseung smiled, looking like he did not quite get what the teacher said and turned to Dongwoon for explanation.
“The shorter guy you saw today, Gi Kwang is his best friend and roommate.” At that Hyunseung’s eyes got wide and he snapped his head to the dark haired boy.
“Then you must know who was with him!” he exclaimed and pushed Dongwoon aside. “Tall, blond, handsome guy with small eyes and heart like lips.” Gi Kwang blinked with the ice cream between his lips before the description sunk in.
“That would be Junhyung.” He answered and looked behind the male, seeing their apartment building a few feet away.
“Can I meet him?” asked again Hyunseung and Dongwoon had to pull his friend away from the other guardian.
“Sorry he’s a little over excited.” Apologized Dongwoon and pushed his friend to walk ahead.
“I found my perfect model, why wouldn’t I be?” pouted the pretty male walking backwards.
“He’s an advertisement manager, I doubt he would model.” Said Gi Kwang and entered in the building, bowing slightly to Dongwoon who opened the door for them.
“Which agency?” the pretty male again asked. For a moment Gi Kwang was reluctant to answer, but then he kind of figured that maybe Hyunseung would like the agency and use it for advertisement and since he was interested in Junhyung he would get him and Yoseob was in his team and his friend would die if he could monitor the advertisement for his favorite brand, plus Hyunseung was pretty, so maybe Junhyung would leave Gi Kwang be.
“D.J. Advertisement.” Answered Gi Kwang smiling and heard Dongwoon sigh behind him.
“It must be fate. I thought of using them too.” smiled the pretty male and hopped in place, while they waited for the elevator.
“It must be.” Murmured Gi Kwang, surprisingly chipper.

The pairings are pretty obvious by now, so I'm pointing them out. I said it won't be some hard to figure out plot, and besides I have fallen in some kind of block and it's really hard to figure what to write, I have no idea how this came out and I have no idea what to write after it OTL Please do tell me what you think?
Oh, yea. I changed the theme on my journal - how is it? ^_^ There were a few things with the other that I didn't quite like and I found this in the featured themes and it's totally to my liking, I hope it's not a bother for you all?
