How much worser can it possibly get, you're rightly asking these days. Lemme top that for you.
How about: Schmidt won't be fielded due to an injury.

Here he is, frolickin' by the pool a few days ago.

It's going to be epic, but not in the good sense :(

Still very glad that I won't be able to watch it, though I'll be checking my mobile every five seconds, since one of my girls promised to text whenever there was a goal happening in the Werder- oder Stuttgart- matches...

I think Allofs is not doing anymore shopping. He should have neither gotten rid of Hugo nor shopped a CB. We need a playmaker. This is what we need. And some cleaning up in def midfield. And quicker recovery of Wesley.

Thing is, until the end of the first-leg, I was giving KA the benfit of adoubt for his theory of the team can compensate the loss of Özil. I was willing to go along, though had doubts about it. But he should have at least the decency to fix that misconception now. (I will not talk about the Naldo sit. for now - for we could get by if we would freakin only score more.) Or tell us, why he can't (maybe transfer sit is generally shitty yada yada and he wants Gündogan over the summer, after he got his Abitur etc) jus so we know and don't get even more aggrevated when having to watch a desolate team coming apart when trailing 3 min into the game in the second-leg games.

I still think he can/shall do sth about the whole mess.

Don't want to start the fight again ;)

My point was more : I was going to accept one weak spot (defense) for investing well to get our combinatory play going. My priority is slightly different ffrom yours -- I'd fix the pride of our former years (and would have done sth about a possible Naldo replacement once it got obvisous that this going to be serious).

I am with you on the numbers problem. That does in fact become an issue (in fact, has already been one, considering Boro/Jensen fail lately and some of the recent performances by U23 players. I might be willing to concede that they too need a playmaker (and more experience) before one can actually esteem their capabilities on the pitch.
