10.18 'Booster' review!

It's Friday, which means there's new Smallville! NGL, I'm kind of sad because with every new episode, we get one step closer to the end. I think I need to be alone in the house when the finale airs, so I can cry, because I'm pretty sure I will. Support group anyone? LOL ( Read more... )

Ditto, yes, yes, yes and amen. I don't know if I've ever loved Clark more for his struggle to develop his alter ego, and then how he explained it all at the end as being out of concern for her. I just about melted!

It is weird that they're ignoring the Darkseid plot while they're trying to work on other issues of the mythos - what to do with the farm last week, the secret ID this week. I think it was a mistake to introduce Darkseid so early and ignore him so thoroughly for the majority of the episodes, but i've decided that i'm not going to let this block my enjoyment of the season.

I know. I like how they're keeping it realistic, in terms of how they develop his alter ego (multiple names, costumes). It's very fitting for Smallville's Clark.

Same! Clark Kent has ruined me for any man, lol. He's just too awesome.

I agree with you on how they're handling Darksied. It's very weird and his appearances are sporadic, which doesn't make me happy. I mean, even with Ollie ... they had him marked and then in the next episode, he was acting perfectly normal. IDK what they're doing.

but i've decided that i'm not going to let this block my enjoyment of the season.
I am totally with you on this one. I know season 10 has issues but I don't want to dwell. I just want to enjoy what I like and ignore the rest, lol. :D

really loved this episode. Watched it way later than I normally do, which is immediately the day after at work after I just opened the store, this time it was close to the end. Had a 'Should I watch it or Should I skip it?' struggle.

Really cannot wait for Clark/Oliver in Dominion and Kara/Oliver in Prophecy!

Yup, I'm hoping both episodes will be good, though I don't know how I feel about an Ollie centric episode this late in the season. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will be like 'Booster' though and still be relevant to Clark.
