I'm Back. I must say that I love your insight into how both Arthur and Gwen are feeling in this situation. I can really understand both of their POVs which is a good thing. I can see that Arthur is struggling with doing what is right and what the council thinks is right but ultimately making the wrong decision and the pain that leaves him with when he banishes Gwen. And Gwen, poor Gwen. To have put her faith in Arthur and all of this to happen. Man I just pray that A/G can work through this because I so ship them!

Gwen's faith is a huge concern for me, and her loss of it is actually where I hoped the writers would go with this episode, although now I'm 99.9% positive they won't. Oh well, so it goes.

Oh, wow, thank you! The first scene was actually the one I struggled with the most, and on several occasions I wanted to cut it out before accepting that the fic simply couldn't start after. I'm glad you liked it!

I, too, have mostly been concerned about Gwen. All of my thoughts regarding Arthur have been, tbh, concerns over his character assassination. Which is why I started writing this fic, I guess. XD I was trying to find a way that Arthur could banish her and still maintain the respect of viewers (not sure if I succeeded, but I got to work out some of my feelings! XD).
