So, where's Guy been and what's he been doing these past few years?

Part 2

He stood at the back door of his home leaning casually against the doorframe arms folded across his chest, his usual stance. A solitary figure gazing out seemingly lost in thought. He needed a moment's peace at the end of yet another long, busy day. It was not Sir Guy of ( Read more... )

Coming right up...I was working on some userpics last night instead of posting. I liked the idea of Guy being surrounded by females.

Even if the beginning of the message had not read, "I'm not trying to be funny, but...", he would have known his former protege was behind the message.

This is great that Allan send this to save Guy. :)

He felt the smallest smile creep across his face and picked up the sleeping child to carry her to her mother.

Lovely ! Guy surrounded by females is very interesting !
And Catherine is in love with him, who can blame her? I can't ! ^^

I'm glad to see that there is a lot more chapters coming ! Yay ! ^^
I really love your fic. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry for my spelling mistakes, I'm french and my english isn't very good.

Your spelling is just fine and I appreciate your comments very much. Guy as father figure makes me a little faint too.

I'm really loving this so far. Your world is so intricately detailed, and you've taken the characters to such an interesting place.

Really liked this paragraph--seems perfectly in voice. And aw! Alan!

Guy was shocked when a message made it's way to him anonymously that he should seriously consider leaving Nottingham without delay. Even if the beginning of the message had not read, "I'm not trying to be funny, but...", he would have known his former protege was behind the message. It could be that Alan felt some small amount of loyalty to Guy or possibly guilt over his defection back into Robin's gang. Who knows why he did it, Guy was grateful nonetheless, took the warning seriously, and made a speedy departure in the dead of night. He heard later about the Sheriff's execution and knew he had made a narrow escape. Would he miss the Sheriff? A clue...No.

I can't wait for more!

Thanks! It was funny to me that not long after I had written that part and posted it elsewhere, Richard made the comment about how the Sheriff could trust him Mon., Wed., & Fri, but on Tues. & Thurs., Guy dreamed of the day when he wouldn't have to put up with the Sheriff. I'm glad I got rid of the Sheriff early on, but I kinda miss being able to write some funny things for him too.

Too bad Marian talked to him about killing the Sheriff on a Friday :(

My fic was the same way--the bad part about killing the Sheriff is that you miss writing all of his witticisms!

LOL! I hadn't thought about Marian choosing the wrong day to get Guy to off the Sheriff. By the way, I love your fic too...forgot to say that. I'm so inept at this LJ stuff still.
