Suzanne is sitting on a stone bench in her favourite spot in her garden, a pen in her hand and notebook on her lap, a sweetly perplexed expression creasing her brow.

She sighs and sketches vague fleur de lys patterns in the corner of the page.

Suzie can be found in one of the empty rooms in Percy and Margot's home, surrounded by masses of white material, stitching industriously, humming lightly as she does.

Mlle typist? *blushes a little and gestures to a covered plate on the table* I made you a cake. I hope you like it. Bon anniversaire, mlle typist.

Andrew has gone away again. He says it is important, and I know that he will try not to be gone too long, but still, I shall miss him.
