On zippers and hamburgers

One of the biggest mysteries in lolita fashion are the zippers. Why are all zippers so damn crappy? this goes for all brands I've owned

I know, it´s horrible. I think I have broken 2 zippers since I started with lolita ><, fortnately I could fix them. The strange thing is, that the zippers aren´t low quality, in fact they are a really good quality. But I suppose it makes no difference when you have to pull it through layers and layers of fabrics ^^

lol when i put on my IW Snow-white JSK this summer i pulled up the zipper (after much difficulty) and then it just...popped open? like, i closed it, the little dangly thing to pull it up was still at the top, and then it just opened up all the way. i was like '@__@;' but luckily it was fine again after pulling it down and pulling it up again.
but yeah, skirt seams are a motherfucking bitch and i'm always super afraid i'll break the whole thing, bleh. when you spend near 200€ on a dress it's not exactly pleasant to have to battle the zipper everytime you wanna wear it x_x

also, if you quit eating hamburgers you'll fit a lot more dresses. and you'll be a lot more unhappy. i say, hamburgers are what makes life worthwile. along with pizza, ice cream, tiramisu, ...

yeah it´s happened to me before too! it´s so scary D:
I keep wondering it there isn´t some trick to make it easier (apart from putting on the dress back to front, lol :P).
