Yuletide worked brilliantly. My giftee was happy with the story and my gift was lovely. Plus there are goodies in other fandoms that look good.

My car works!
They replaced all of the spark plugs and the framistat, installed new engine mounts, did the full oil chnage and washed it and my car is fixed!!!!
It cost me $670, which is about $200 less than I thought it would cost.
Smog check - here I come!!!!!!! -

Princess and the Frog
Saw the movie last night on the Disney Studios lot at the D23 event. To be honest, low expectations led to glee. The movie isn't UP!, but it's charming, with a strong heroine, supporting characters that are wonderful, some laugh-out-loud moments and at least one sequence that led to sniffles and tears. DMV
Have been at DMV for 90 minutes. Am hoping this will lead to driver's licence replacement. Wasted an hour on line at social security yesterday - their website lies about what is accepted as ID. Or the woman just didn't want to bother with me.
