Ernie was murdered. Justin seems to think Megan is involved. Never cared for her, but I still can't wrap my head around that. Whoever did this, Megan or not, I hope their actions come back on them tenfold. I don't like myself very much for thinking that way, but they tortured him. Threw his body away like it was trash. 2003 has begun without much fanfare. The last night of 2002 passed like most any other night here at the shop.

My birthday, however, was amazing. Michael Corner is thoughtful, and a gentleman, and kind, and quite handsome to boot. I think I could like him very much.

I had a nice, quiet Christmas with my parents and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. I always feel badly for the Smiths at this time of year. It must be very hard on them to not be able to look forward to Christmases with Zach, to know they'll never have any grandchildren to spoil.
