I Took a SICK day........

Yesterday I was rather under the weather as they say and actually took the day off!!!

Now if you know me at all... you know I am  NOT one to take ANY days off work!  I have taken a grand total (before yesterday) of TWO sick days the past 20 years.. one 4 years ago for knee surgery (yep.. back at my desk 6:30 am the next day with my leg up on my desk

Now that you mention it, workaholism probably is a form of OCD. That, and the fact that some people would rather be anywhere than home dealing with their families.

I sometimes think my mom falls into both categories, lol.

Right now I'd love to get some more work than what I have on my plate (or is that laptop?).

Yes I do believe it is a form of OCD.. a dear friend of ours can confirm that for us LOL

Mine started as an escape from my cancer and the mind numbing fear that brings to a 20 year old.. and I am sure it also morphed into escaping a relationship at home which was not exactly thrilling.. thankfully that relationship has weathered many storms but I do believe it is stronger today than ever before!!!

So yep.. I probably fall into BOTH categories as well!!
