I Took a SICK day........
Yesterday I was rather under the weather as they say and actually took the day off!!!
Now if you know me at all... you know I am NOT one to take ANY days off work! I have taken a grand total (before yesterday) of TWO sick days the past 20 years.. one 4 years ago for knee surgery (yep.. back at my desk 6:30 am the next day with my leg up on my desk toting crutches.. of course I was NOT using them!! LOL)... one about 7 years ago when I threw my back out and could not physically get out of bed in the morning.....
Tuesday I felt rather less than great and when I went home really began feeling lousey... after supper I went straight to bed and shook and shivered in the throws of a fever.. I awoke yesterday morning to an excruciating headache and every part of my body hurt.. so I bowed my head in shame LOL and stayed home.. of course I had my cell phone and laptop and responded to a few things during the day LOL You know I couldn't just do it cold turkey! LOL
I am feeling better today.. but still a ways from my usual full of energy self.. but yes folks.. all is right with the world as I am back in my office LMAO So no concerns of the end of the world as we know it coming.. for the moment anyway... LMAO
Can anyone out there spell "workaholic"?? LOL LOL Or maybe it is just OCD kicking in and a complusive need to "be at work".. or maybe they are one in the same? Who cares LOL LOL
Anyway.. I am back and stirring up trumoil where ever I go as usual... as I said.. all is right with the world LMAO
