Chris shows up, walking through the beach house door. He's carrying a steel briefcase, and dressed in simple blue cargo pants and a white t-shirt with an RPD STARS patch on the right sleeve.
Chris smiles, then walks over and grabs a bottle of beer.
"Hey, Sis. Anyone else show yet?" Chris asks, popping the bottlecap off on the edge of the table. After a nice, healthy drink, he sits the briefcase down on the floor at his feet and takes a seat on the couch next to Claire.
There's Jill! She plops down on one of the couch's armrests, dog-earing a page in the old book she brought with her. It's about... swordfighting, oddly enough.
She doesn't look too excited about the upcoming discussion, but... it's best for everyone to be on the same page, right?
Hunnigan arrives, without a tape recorder, but with a polite, unobtrusive smile and a handshake.
She'd almost forgotten the bewildering part of the Nexus: that these people had a fresh and personal history with what, to her, was remote. Raccoon was something that was largely wrapped by the time she entered federal service.
She intends to make up for the slightly intrusive feel to her presence by helping STARS retake its place.
Nice? Try "horrific." Hunnigan smiles back. She does not go sit in the corner, but she does quietly greet those she knows and then places herself out of the way.

She herself is seated on the couch in the living room, which she's turned around to face the room, with a glass of bourbon.
