Chris shows up, walking through the beach house door. He's carrying a steel briefcase, and dressed in simple blue cargo pants and a white t-shirt with an RPD STARS patch on the right sleeve.

Claire points mutely to the case of Budweiser on the kitchen counter.

She knows how he rolls.

She herself is seated on the couch in the living room, which she's turned around to face the room, with a glass of bourbon.

Chris smiles, then walks over and grabs a bottle of beer.

"Hey, Sis. Anyone else show yet?" Chris asks, popping the bottlecap off on the edge of the table. After a nice, healthy drink, he sits the briefcase down on the floor at his feet and takes a seat on the couch next to Claire.

"You're the first."

She sips some bourbon and settles back against the couch.

"This is going to be sort of uncomfortable."

"Yeah.." Chris says, shaking his head and looking at the bottle. "Yeah it is."
