I'm fucking disgusted right now. I'm watching the news, and "anti-Olympic protesters" are smashing store windows and pushing over newspaper boxes. What the fuck? It seems like a convenient excuse for people who just wanted to destroy stuff. It's not like they're doing it to the property of the scummy organizers and developers who are saddling BC with a multi-billion dollar debt.

Also, most of the "protesters" went home once it had been raining for a few hours. If people can't hang in with BC's most common weather, that says a lot about how dedicated they weren't.

As much as Los Angeles has a bad reputation, I find the people here refreshingly free of bullshit. And every other person isn't a bisexual, polyamorous, vegan buddhist like Vancouver.

I was just asking my other half about 30 minutes ago if it was wrong of me not to care about the Olympics?

I really don't have any interest in it and I definitely agree that there's a whole lot of money invested in it that could be put to better use.
