Oh, lovely. Arthur can't get many words in edgewise I see, but he was never really that good at that.

I have never seen Red Dwarf so wondering, is Cat the name of the creature on the guys chest?

Yes, sorry. I had up until Rimmer leaves written down, but after that I was just going off of what I had in my mind. So if nothing makes sense it is because I typed it up at 11:30 at night. Anyway, yes... Lister's cat Frankenstein was pregnant on the ship, and in the 3 million years while Lister was in suspended animation her offspring evolved into human-like creatures. When he wakes up, Cat is the only one left. If you like comedy and science fiction, you would like it, it is bizarre. I grew up watching the show on Saturday nights and it will always hold a fond place in my heart.

Do you think I did Arthur at least passable? I was a bit iffy on him but rather confident that Rimmer and Lister would dominate the conversation.

No, Arthur's fine and the way you've written Rimmer and Lister they seem great enough character's that I don't really mind their scene dominating.

Oh, it is classic. I hope you like it. It's got some very strange plot pieces and such, but I believe it will be worth your time.

Lister is my personal hero. Rimmer I could do without at times, but he does have his moments, like in the episode "Quarantine."

Almost year later I have finally gotten around to watching full length episodes of Red Dwarf, and you're right it's amazing! Plus this fic makes ALOT more sense, heh. When I searched you tags (which, by the way, read as a stream of consciousness piece mademy head explode) I found the baby Lister pictures if you remember. Seems you got there before me (abd I didn't remember), but I have always wanted to name my son Lister (the girl being Tesla) even before so RD is confirming to me how awesome such a name is! I like Rimmer sometimes, usually in his flashback monologues, because he's led a depressing life I want to give him a consolation hug. At least Lister has the good sense to enjoy the bad cards he was dealt, whereas Rimmer just became a prick.

I'm on Season 3 . . . and really invested as you can read.

Hngh, well, I am glad it makes more sense now. But having just reread it myself I kind of want to travel back in time and slap myself for calling Lister Rimmer so many times. Fail.
