Also augeas was there wearing a red gown and carrying his own portable bar, and met kekhmet who had an indepth knowledge of both industrial bands and intelligent agents! Oh wow, sorry I missed it.

How come you're not a Whitby, I thought everybody was there (and thus LiveJournal was but a quiet wasteland) but now I discover interesting people are posting interesting things about interesting stuff.

Anyway, the main reason I'm posting this is to be a sneaky git and advertise that Rome Burns are playing at the Man on the Moon this coming Wednesday (hopefully when the Whitbyites return). All Gone Dead, Voices of Masada and Devilish Presley are also playing. I can't promise DiJ style intensity, but DiJ style chaos may be assured (4 bands on that tiny stage...what are they thinking of!!)

we decided not to go to whitby this time as we are saving to go to prague in may instead, and also thought that a change would be as good as a rest, as the saying goes. as it turned out, this week has been insanely busy with house hunting activities, so whitby would have meant that we would have had to work around it (and of course would have meant that we would be viewing different houses, and ending up with a different place entirely - butterfly effect in action there)...

....and so this of course means that this week will also be busy, with house viewings in two directions, and other pre-arranged things. so it's unlikely that we will be at the gig, despite the fact that i'd like to see all gone dead and of course your own burning selves.

but yes, nice segue and you should feel free to advertise at your discretion! :)

I saw Mark at Whitby, so unless there are two of him that's the only place he was.

Glad to hear it went well.
