Dick had had a great evening with Veronica at prom and yes, admitting that in his head still sounded a bit weird to him. If someone suggested it a year ago he wouldn't have thought it possible. But there it was. He had gotten back late and barely managed to take that monkey suit of his off before passing out in bed

When Caz realized that he wasn't with his parents, he knew his mom was gonna yell a lot that he wandered off. Then he recognized where he was and wondered how he ended up in Fandom. Uncle Angel had taught him all about portals, so maybe that's what happened.

He was still pretty sure he was gonna get yelled at though. He took off for the dorms, figuring he'd find his big sister and she could help him get home. But walking through town, he realized that it didn't look the same as it did when they usually visited Lilly.

Then he remembered his parents telling stories about weird things when they were in school. He managed to find a school directory and saw his dad's name listed, so he made his way to that room.

He knocked a few times, but his dad didn't answer. With a sigh, he pulled out his lock pick kit and opened the door. Dad was probably gonna yell that he picked the lock, but he was hungry and he needed to wake his dad up.

"Dad," he said. "Dad, wake up." He walked over to the bed and shook his dad's shoulder. "DAD!"

"I don't care where we go, long as we get food," Caz said. He decided to explore his dad's room while he waited. He did inherit a few genes from his mother, after all.

He poked around some paper's on Dick's desk and found a picture of his parents from prom the night before. "How come you and Mom are all dressed up?"

Dick had been putting on his shoes when Caz found the picture. "That's from prom. It's like a dance thing. You gotta dress up."

"Ew. That doesn't sound like fun. But Mom looks pretty," Caz said.

Dick got up to take the picture in his hands and looked at it for a second. "Yeah, she does, doesn't she?"

"Are you ready for breakfast now?" Caz asked. He wasn't much for sentimentality. Not that he knew what that word meant or anything.

"Yeah, totally," Dick said, putting the picture down. "Wanna have a pancake eating race when we get there?"

"Sure! I will totally kick your ass!"

Hey, mom wasn't around to thwap him for swearing.
