am i so righteous?  sweet?  caring?  sometimes it doesn't matter.  everybody tells me, "man, you're 21...you're supposed to be scoping out a bunch of different girls, it's how you meet the right one."  but i just can't do that...if i'm talking or flirting a lot with one, i feel guilty if i do the same thing with another.  and i certainly won't ( Read more... )

It's very conscientious and commendable of you not to make promises that you feel you can't keep; however, sometimes letting go and just flowing with things can be well worth the potentially negative feelings that come with a few stray kisses. You don't have a reason to feel guilty. You haven't made any obligations to anyone yet. So please, don't beat yourself up. <3 Instability and indecision is inevitable.

that's surprisingly informed and intelligent, doria. you're really well on your way to being different than the girl who used to stalk me at bill's. I understand that i shouldn't beat myself up, but you see, it's all i know how to do...but i am working on changing that.

I hope you don't really think that way of me. I'm the same person I have always been. I think you've been clinging to alot of misconceptions about me, which admittedly, is my fault for my behavior. I'm choosing not to be insulted by your response to my original comment, because I know you mean well.

I hope change comes easily for you. I don't think you deserve to feel as badly as you do about certain things in your life.

you are amazing. it's not like rotting in the darkness because you need time to regroup, so to speak. people are jackasses, especially guys are age, and an increasing amount of girls. no matter what age, life is not a frat party, and people like us don't enjoy being the stereotypical "morning-after girl", if you know what I'm saying...i know what you mean about feeling guilty...man do i know it.
