I saw that news on Wikipedia, and was totally thinking of Jack when I read the MoH criteria.

Also, I meant to say before, congratulations on the new job! Even if they do have a long time between payments - ouch.

Ah, but look at it this way - your paycheck will be TWICE as big as if you were to get paid every thirty days. :D

I'd read somewhere that the military (maybe it was the canadian military, idk) was trying to push through commendations a lot faster so that units could celebrate the recipient while they're still together, and so those that are awarded posthumous can offer some sort of closure for the families. I'm really glad to see it actually happening.
