Happy Birthday, Gred and Forge!

Apr 01, 2006 11:07

Honestly, what's more appropriate for these two than to have been born on April Fool's Day? :D  And in their honor, I have sentence drabbles for you all.  Non-HP ones, too, of course, so don't worry.  Um, yay?

(And, er... I wrote twincest, even.  Which is all kriken's fault, really.  She may even remember why.)

4 HP: Fred and George, Fred/George/Lavender, Fred/George )

fred and george, btvs + ats fic, potc fic, harry potter fic, giveaways, fic

I never really understood why people invented sentence drabbles, but I've definitely become a fan of your PotC ones. Great description of Jack Sparrow - and mmmmmh, Norrington's eyes always reduce me to a puddle of goo.

*worships*

oh, i'm right with you there. i love the color, especially... it seems so very fitting, don't you think? (an opinion which you might've picked up on from the drabble here, too. :P ( ... )

Oh! Never thought I could make people's mornings in the state I'm in at the moment. I feared that my comments could seem unfriendly or harsh - not my intention, of course, just an impression I got when I re-read them after I posted them. Glad to see it's not so. :)

I could never fit a whole story into one sentence - I even have trouble with real drabbles. Maybe I'm just destined to write longer fic - or blather more, depends on how you look at it. ;)

Request? I'm allowed to request? OMG! *glee*
Well... Which fandoms do you write in? *rubs hands*

yeah, i have trouble with regular drabbles too -- i'm always very blathery as well. of course, in a way this can be good, 'cause you get longer fic for when you're not trying to write a drabble...

i'm not sure how or why i've found a [sort of] knack for these, though. it does logically seem like i shouldn't be able to do them, but somehow i can. *blinks*

Request? I'm allowed to request? OMG! *glee*

sure, absolutely! anyone who leaves feedback is allowed to request, as it says at the bottom of the post. *g*

the applicable fandoms be these: my main four, obviously (that's HP, PotC, GO, and the buffyverse), plus lost, bones, desperate housewives, gilmore girls, scrubs (maybe), veronica mars, will & grace (maybe), monk (maybe), and coupling (maybe). the maybes are the ones i'm less sure about... but willing to give it a go, at least.

i suppose i may as well also throw velvet goldmine, princess bride, and brokeback mountain in there, though i'm not 100% confident about those either. and i really want to put firefly... but i'm not ( ... )

Eeee!!! You wrote a twincest sentence fic! ♥ And it's all my fault! ::is completely unrepentant::

::coughs:: Right, so, feedback:

Harry Potter
1) Broke my heart in that one little sentence, you did. It's amazing how much can be packed into so few words, and you did a beautiful job demonstrating that here.

2) Cute :) I mean, it's not like George could do it without Fred.

3) Ahahahaha XD Lavender's all about them Weasley boys, isn't she? ;)

4) Awwwwwwww ♥ And it was cute little fluffy twincest, too.

Angel
1) Aww, Fred - you're such a cute little southern dork...

PotC
1) That is a very apt description of him, methinks.

2) I have no idea who has the green, green eyes, but it sounded very pretty! :D

I know I shouldn't barge in, but when I spot a question I can answer, I'm hard to stop. ;)

Commodore Norrington. :)

Sorry for the re-posting, don't know why I had that bit in my RAM and not what you wrote. *headdesks*

LJ's all about barging in, so no worries ;)

And thanks! I kinda figured it was him, as I'm pretty sure Jack doesn't have green eyes and what with supes_'s predilection of throwing them together it only left one more option. It's good to know my reasoning worked :)

Again, no worries - happens to the best of us ;)

i've always kinda liked to think of norrington as having that deep-buried desire to be free of responsibilities, or at least get to do something other than shuffle papers and command other people's ships, even if his strong sense of duty and ambition usually keep these desires at bay (or possibly subconscious all together). i mean, he's actually a very good captain and stuff, i'd bet.

it's just, there's this notable twinge of sardonic melancholy underlying his character, that's not hard to pick up on if you really look... so it would be fitting irony, i think, if some hidden part of him actually envied the very people he condemns. y'know?

ramble, sorry...

also, is it wrong that seeing my friends who don't know each other have a conversation makes me kinda squeey? *g*

hee. i had such fun writing that one. they're all sweet and pretty and snuggly... *smushes them*

lol about lavender, though. it's always kinda surprisingly nice when one you didn't think was as strong as the others turns out to be someone's favorite...

by the way, d'you want anything? er, in addition to the one you've got coming (*guilty blush*). i could really use a buffyverse request or two, but anything else you might like to ask for instead, you're welcome to as well...

(and i so need to go give you some, too. i'm just ever so buried in comments to reply to right now. *gasps for air*)

Mmm. Sentence-love. Especially the PotC ones, but maybe I just like them best because I'm in love with the fandom.

IRL, I would never admit to liking twincest, but...

Much love for teh Weasleys! *glomps the drabbles*

Your description of Jack is gorgeous wonderful brilliant... I can't find an appropriate word! *re-reads... again*

Lovely, lovely Norrington! ^_^

oh! I spied permission for requests!
1) HP... Something with Snape, please? (Darn you for making me want to develop a muse. =P)
2) PotC... J/N! ^_^
and... (since you didn't list SW to Bill, I'll resist asking. =P)
3) Princess Bride... Something with Count Rugen (but only if it isn't too difficult).

*squee!*

Elaboration... jedipirate April 2 2006, 00:40:08 UTC
Weasley fics were sad/yummy/cute/sweet. And if I were in Lavender's position, I probably wouldn't mind being shared, either. *g*

I seriously cannot tell you how much I like that Jack drabble. It has the appearance of something almost tangible, but it sort of twists around in my brain and is wispy like smoke, and just as hard to grasp... I love it.

Poor, sad James with his beautiful, green eyes. He needs his pirate to come and find him and take him away... at least for a little while, before he has to return to his duty.

i really probably shouldn't giggle like 12-year-old boy at "lavender's position," should i? :P

also, speaking of weasleys... would it just be totally shameless of me to ask if you'd caught the drabble post i did for ron's birthday last month?

*dies*

that is, like, the most gorgeous description i have ever heard. i wouldn't have imagined i was worthy of such absolutely wonderful feedback. <3<3<3

oh, very much. i'd bet jack would be just the cure for his commodorely angst.

*swoons at the thought*

*joy!*

oh, you say such lovely things. *glops you*

i do like my jack description, too (if that's not too big-headed of me). like i was saying to... who was it, bill?... it really speaks to my initial (and still strong) impressions of him, since i wrote it back when i was just getting into the fandom.

IRL, I would never admit to liking twincest, but...

yeah... my views on incest are quite different when it comes to real life (well, maybe not that different, since i still consider it somewhat wrong in fiction... but the good kind of wrong). and i'd probably not admit to reading it (very occasionally) to most people IRL, unless i was pretty close friends with them.

it's sorta like chan that way. *still has a bit of trouble admitting she sometimes likes chan, even online*

HP... Something with Snape, please? (Darn you for making me want to develop a muse. =P)

mwahaha. >:D and, will do. yey for snape!request!

PotC... J/N! ^_^

oh, naturally. *g*
will also do.

and... (since you didn't list SW to Bill, I'll resist asking. =P)i ( ... )
