Yesterday was the end of A term/finals day...I'm officially halfway to departure day (aka d-day)! The first quarter of classes went well as I had an especially good french TA. Lol!!! No kidding. I was watching 20h on french2.fr today and they had a section on agriculture in southern France. It was amazing how stark a transition there was between regional accents! Going from the news anchor's proper french to the french spoken on the Italian border was incredible! What a contrast! :-) Yay for slow french...boo for the Parisians! (no offense to Francoise though!)
