I was told that LCD was the most evil class that is required of all freshmen. I thought it was exaggeration, maybe it still is. But now that I've had it I know this will be my most tedious and annoying class. Well, maybe Art History will beat it in the first part. I haven't had that one yet. uhh...this might be a stupid question, but i know zero about art...what does "LCD" stand for? is it like the kind of screen on electronics or something? ahh sorry, i'm so art-ignorant.

Forgot that I didn't mention what it is. It stands for Light, Colour and Design (aka evil class).

We art types are fans of acronyms, apparently. In fact, I no longer call my possibly intended major "communcations design" but COMD because it sounds cooler. Oh yeah, we're awesome.

I also know nothing about art, but I know the hardest thing for me about my art class was deadlines. I was rarely happy with anything I did because I always felt rushed to get it done by the deadline.

I am very curious about your roomate now. Do tell more about her when you actually meet her!

I'm living with her boxes at the moment. She is an enigma. Only one person has spoken to her (my suitemate Claire) so we know she exists. The theory my mum put was that she has the dorm so her parents think she's living on campus but is really shacking up with her boyfriend/girlfriend and is using the room as extra storage.
