You know you're having a lame Saturday night when you spill your after-work whiskey all over your PJs.

Doing 365 this year has made me realize how much I miss journaling. The thing is I'm moderately failing at this project--it's day 98 and I'm at 66 poems--but on the days I don't write, I am usually concentrating on at least one other kind of creative project. Sometimes my friends on facebook get married (real married, not facebook married) and their last names change and then I can't figure out who they are for a minute.

It's really obnoxious.

"What's your major?"

"Vet tech."

"Mmm. You should have been a writer."

Sometimes, the trash talk gets to be a little too much for me. I just start to wonder what people say about me when I'm not around.
