I LOVE winter, and the ground is finally frosty in the morning! YAY. I went out for a walk with Hana today without gloves. Never again. But YAY :D

2. Will you do anything to acknowledge the Winter/Sumer Solstice?Maybe, now that I know it's on December 22 :) But it is rather ( Read more... )

I like winter, too! It can get too cold for me here so I'll complain if I have to be outside for awhile or if I can't get as warm as I'd like indoors, but otherwise I love snuggling down under blankets and drinking tea. <3

Dick Grayson is a cutie!!

I'm happy the second season of The Witcher is out, too. I'm also trying to take my time so it isn't over really fast. I've just watched one so far (although that's partly circumstantial...I probably would have seen one or two more if my time had worked out better, heh).

You can have my share of winter. I hate the cold and snow.

I loved the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo books. The movies are very good, too.

Original Swedish film ----

The American version two years later --

Merry Christmas and enjoy your winter/Crhistmas break.

Oooo thanks for the links to the movies! My husband watched one of those - I think he said it was the original Swedish version - on Netflix and that was what reminded me that I wanted to read the books :) Another friend here told me the story of how the author of the books died of a heart attack before they were published, very sad and also conspiracy???. I wish I could have a bit of your winter, although I like our clear blue skies and frozen ground of a dry winter as well. I need a bit of snow!

I hope your Christmas was restful and warm!

You're welcome.

Here is what Wikipedia has to say about the author, Stieg Larsson. Scroll down to "Death." Such a sad, unfair situation.

Yeah, it's awful. If his family really loved him they would have given his assets to the org. as he requested in his Will. A bunch of money loving assholes, sounds like. And his poor wife :(
