TV and Books

I finished watching several shows and read one book over the last couple of weeks.

1) I watched Season 2 of TITANS, newly out here on Netflix.  I was surprised to find out that USA Netflix doesn't have it.  Has it already finished for you?  I'm not super in love with TITANS but I do like some of the characters a lot - namely Dick and the Teens (and Starfire).

I skipped through countless scenes just to watch the good ones.  The older generation TITANS are all pretty awful people full of anger and distrust and I didn't like any of them.

2) I watched the rest of CRISIS and it was good!  Better even than the first three maybe.[Spoiler (click to open)]Oliver's death was epic.  Beautful man with a golden beard and a single tear.

gah...But... why didn't Iris appear after the new world was created in the last one?  Barry is the Paragon of love and his true love doesn't even appear? She should have been there even just for a hug.  Anyway, a nice pic of Barry too -

I LOVED that the TITANS appeared in one of the last scenes!  But also terribly confusing that all the super heros are now on one Prime Earth.  Especially with regard to the TITANS, since they are an offshoot of Batman.  Does that mean we are going to have a Batwoman/TITANS crossover too?  Actually... I could ship Batwoman and Dick :D

3) I also finished Beauty and the Beast.  The finale was pretty good, except I wished they has showed not only Cat but also Vincent having a career in France.

4) And in between all that, I finished reading The Professor by Charlotte Bronte.  I enjoyed it after I finally started reading seriously.  Alex was reading it for a class focussing on British Identity in the 19th century so it was interesting to read it from that point of view, but also thinking of Charlotte and her experience studying in Belgium and as a teacher.  The novel is about a man who goes to Belgium to get away from a stifling life in England and there starts a teaching career and finds his future wife.  Very insightful and sometimes very humorous.
