I loved all the scenes with Sam and Eileen, they really do have a special chemistry. And I liked Cas hunting the djinn. I've only rated it good as there wasn't enough Dean in it for me - although seeing him in his pyjamas almost made up for that!

The lady Cas helped was the manager in Plucky Pennywhistle back in season 7--the younger dark-haired witch was the murderous little girl ghost back in season 1 in the episode with the painting and Sarah Blake--and the head witch was in the show twice before, as the wife who got murdered in the case with the ghost that typed 'danaschulps' and the crooked cop ,and in the episode where we first meet Carver Edlund back in season 4 she was the woman in the publisher's office who Sam and Dean showed their tattoos to.

THANK YOU, I was trying to place the mom Cas was helping the whole time I was watching! I knew about Sarah Blake, but I didn't even realize that the younger dark-haired witch had been on before. I'm hoping all these repeat bit players pay off in an interesting way and that it isn't happening purely because this is the last season.

Re that narration thing, do you download/stream the new eps online? I've seen some things recently about people's uploads having "audio description" which I believe is for the blind. There wasn't any narration when I watched it on the CW

Darn, I wish I'd known that two eps earlier. I would have watched this on CW streaming to avoid that (and got the caps from the file ;) ) Definitely going to do that now. Thank you for telling me! Boo for all the speculation about purposeful narration by "Chuck" and seriously I feel sorry for the visually impaired because that voice sucks on so many levels.

I'm sorry for being so absent. I'm so behind on reading reaction posts/the flist in general and replying to comments because of RL. I'm doing this online programming course and it's taking a lot of time and brain power to learn the stuff and then there's watching tv shows (and me and the hb are also behind on those too).

I was so good to see Eileen back! I wasn't happy at all at how they killed her in the first place, so it was nice to know that she's back plus Sam's always connected with her so it's also nice to see Sam smiling again. :)
