No Cas, you don’t coerce someone into drinking their own grace, dummy. - Agreed 100%. I was like, seriously, you guys? Even Sam was kinda too touchy with Gabriel given his trauma. It was no wonder he was so uncooperative, they were waaaay too forceful to begin with. :/
I also really didn't like Dean saying that he didn't get to say "no". I think Gabriel's agency has been violated enough recently. I'm glad Sam and Cas gave him his grace back so it'd heal him. I'm actually kinda glad he left. I think he was worried that they would somehow MAKE him stay and help them, and he'd just end up enslaved to them instead of Asmodeus. :/

I agree, although I understand and feel for both Sam's and Dean's disbelief and disappointment.
