The exchange between Jamie and Black Jack bothered me a bit actually, I don't remember how that was in the book. Didn't she stop him before he had the chance to ask for a duel?
I feel they should have left out Claire trying to stop Alex from pursuing Mary. It felt kind of out of character for her.
I kind of feel that episode had a few missteps, so it's not a favorite for me.
The argument at the end was heartbreaking. I am starting to look forward to the return to Scotland in the hope that these conflicts between Claire and Jamie will stop.
Here's how it goes in the book. A lot of little things are different but the main plot is the same. Jamie challenges Jack after he takes Claire home but Claire stops it in the same way. More important though is what happens later, aye? This whole season is heartbreaking.
Ah right! My memory was a bit fuzzy. I had a slight notion that Claire accusing Black Jack was correct, but couldn't put the pieces together. Thank you for clearing that up for me. I don't feel ready for the episode with Faith. I fear it will be heartbreaking on so many levels.

I don't feel ready for the episode with Faith. I fear it will be heartbreaking on so many levels.
